Villarreal came from behind to beat Napoli 3:1 at the Estadio de la Cerámica on Tuesday night, ending their seven match losing run in the Champions League.
Napoli started brightly. Amir Rrahmani hit the bar with a header after eight minutes, then reacted fastest to bury the rebound. The lead lasted a quarter of an hour.
Georges Mikautadze pounced on a loose Matteo Politano back pass to equalise on 23 minutes. Three minutes later, Santiago Mouriño turned the game with a stunning effort from distance, set up by Gerard Moreno.
